Since its establishment in 2017, Dubai Heights Academy has been providing an inclusive, dynamic, and exceptional education to an international student body ranging from FS1 to Year 12 (2025-2026), with plans to expand organically to Year 13.

Our modern campus features separate facilities for each educational phase along with a 380-seat auditorium. Amenities include three temperature-controlled swimming pools, fully equipped science and computer laboratories, dedicated spaces for art, design technology, music, and drama, a library, two multi-purpose sports halls, a full-sized football pitch, various outdoor play areas, and a spacious canteen. Spanning 292,000 sqft, our campus includes three buildings dedicated to each phase, and we are excited to announce the recent addition of our new secondary building, which opened in August 2025, representing our most ambitious initiative to date.

Dubai Heights Academy follows a curriculum designed to meet the diverse needs of our students, based on the National Curriculum for England. This curriculum has been adapted to align with local standards and includes Arabic language, Islamic Studies, Moral Education, and Social Studies. Additionally, we have collaborated with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to create and implement a tailored AI (artificial intelligence) project-based program for secondary students, alongside an early language initiative using social robots for Primary, enhancing our comprehensive curriculum.

Job Overview

Dubai Heights Academy is on the lookout for a dedicated and reliable female PE Technician/Sports Assistant to support our PE department and school sports initiatives. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in setting up lessons, maintaining equipment, assisting teaching staff, and helping to deliver exceptional PE and sports experiences throughout the school.

This role also encompasses coaching and managing selected sports teams, leading training sessions, and attending fixtures and tournaments as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and arranging equipment and facilities for PE lessons

•
Assisting teachers during practical PE and swimming sessions while encouraging student participation

•
Coaching and managing school sports teams (training, fixtures, and supervision)

•
Organizing, maintaining, and overseeing sports equipment and storage areas

•
Assisting in the planning and execution of school sports events and fixtures

•
Encouraging positive behavior, teamwork, and enthusiasm for sports

We are searching for a candidate who:

Has experience with children or coaching young athletes

•
Is confident in leading sports teams and aiding PE lessons

•
Is organized, proactive, and an effective communicator

•
Has a passion for sports, teamwork, and student development

Desirable: Qualifications in sports coaching (including swimming), First Aid certification, and/or experience in an educational environment.
