In your role as an English Teacher at GEMS Al Barsha National School, you will create and implement engaging and thought-provoking lessons that cultivate a profound appreciation for the English language and literature. You will assist students in honing their reading, writing, and analytical abilities, ensuring that every learner reaches their academic potential. Additionally, you will engage actively with the broader school community, participating in co-curricular activities, school events, and the continuous development of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, prepare, and conduct high-quality Physics lessons that inspire and motivate students across varying ability levels.

· Encourage a passion for reading, writing, and communication through creative and meaningful learning experiences.

· Assess, document, and report on student progress, utilizing data to inform instructional planning and differentiation.

· Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners and promotes academic excellence.

· Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and share effective practices.

· Maintain effective communication with parents to provide regular updates on student progress and achievements.

· Participate in departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and co-curricular activities.

Qualifications & Knowledge

· A Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or a closely related discipline, along with a recognized teaching qualification/licence (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

· Familiarity with ICT and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning processes.

Experience
