We are on the lookout for an exceptional Primary Computing Teacher who is dedicated to maintaining high standards, enthusiastic about digital education, and ready to make a meaningful contribution to our innovative team.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop and deliver engaging Computing lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England, inspiring a love for digital learning and technology.

• Equip students with critical skills in computational thinking, problem-solving, and coding to prepare them for future technological developments.

• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes creativity, collaboration, and digital fluency.

• Integrate global perspectives, cross-curricular connections, and project-based learning to cultivate well-rounded, future-ready students.

• Utilize a variety of educational technologies, programming languages, and digital tools to enhance the learning experience.

• Promote the safe and responsible use of technology, ensuring that students are aware of online safety, digital citizenship, and cybersecurity principles.

• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate digital learning across subjects and support staff professional development as necessary.

• Partner with parents and the broader school community to foster an understanding of technology's role in education.

Experience & Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s in Education focusing on Computing/ICT or a BA/BSc with PGCE (or an equivalent teaching qualification).

• Fully qualified teacher with QTS and a minimum of one year of experience teaching Computing within the National Curriculum for England.

• Strong knowledge of computational thinking, coding (e.g., Scratch, Python), robotics, and digital literacy.

• A commitment to enhancing academic standards and assisting students in acquiring essential digital skills for the future.

• An innovative educator who embraces research-based pedagogy and forward-thinking teaching methods.

• Excellent classroom management abilities that ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

• A reflective practitioner eager to engage in the school’s Professional Learning Community and pursue continuous professional development.

Desirable


• Awareness of safeguarding and digital safeguarding practices to promote students' online safety and well-being.

• Experience with STEM initiatives, robotics, or coding clubs to boost student engagement in digital learning.

• Familiarity with cloud-based learning platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams) to support blended learning strategies.

Shortlisting & Interview Process:

• Candidates who are shortlisted will be invited to provide a video introduction illustrating their teaching philosophy and achievements.

• Successful candidates will move forward to an online interview with the Primary Principal and key school leaders.

• Candidates located in the UAE will be invited to conduct a 45-minute lesson observation followed by an in-person interview with senior leadership.

Compensation
