Position Overview:

We invite enthusiastic Physics educators committed to fostering a love of learning and enriching the community at Dubai American Academy, with positions available starting August 2026.

This is a wonderful opportunity for IB Physics teachers dedicated to cultivating curiosity, inspiring achievement, and enhancing the educational journey of every student at DAA.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver captivating and interactive Physics lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and educational standards.

•
Design and execute innovative and effective teaching strategies to instill a passion for Physics and develop critical thinking abilities.

•
Work collaboratively with peers to create a supportive and positive learning atmosphere.

•
Ensure a seamless delivery of the curriculum content.

•
Tailor instruction to accommodate the varied learning needs of students.

•
Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.

•
Engage in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open lines of communication with parents about student progress.

Successful candidates will require:

•
A Bachelor of Education degree, or a relevant initial degree along with a recognized teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or Level 5 equivalent specialization in Physics.

•
Demonstrated experience teaching High School Physics, ideally within an American or IB curriculum context.

•
Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and hands-on Physics instruction.

•
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

•
Capacity to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

•
A commitment to continuous improvement in teaching practices to provide exceptional educational experiences for students.
