Aldar Education is thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Teacher - Science at Noya British School in Abu Dhabi, set to commence in the upcoming Academic Year AY2026/27.

Key responsibilities include:

- Building positive relationships with all members of the school community.
- Collaborating with fellow teachers to create engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards.
- Effectively communicating with colleagues and showing adaptability in teamwork.
- Partnering with curriculum support staff (if applicable) to enhance children's development.

Specific Duties:

Teaching and Learning:

- Exhibiting a thorough understanding of the curriculum.
- Organizing classroom resources and designing displays that foster an engaging learning atmosphere.
- Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that cater to the varied needs of all students.
- Motivating students through dynamic and inventive teaching methods.
- Monitoring and evaluating students in line with school assessment protocols.

Assessment and Data:

- Taking responsibility for the academic progress of a class.
- Meeting the requirements for assessing and documenting student growth using Target Tracker.
- Leveraging assessment data to guide future planning, provisions, and interventions.
- Providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding student progress during Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.

Behavior Management and Duties:

- Complying with the school's behavior policy.
- Effectively managing classrooms by implementing strategies that accommodate students' needs, motivating and challenging them.
- Carrying out duties as directed in accordance with school policies.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject along with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

Minimum Experience:

- A minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience.

- Experience working with students who speak English as a second language.
- A strong enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to the holistic development of children.
- A high level of professionalism with a focus on student welfare.
- Active involvement in extracurricular activities.

- A positive, solution-driven work ethic.
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police clearance.

Compensation

£35,000 - £55,000 (Tax-Free Equivalent)
