About This Role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Teacher - ICT (Computer Science) to join Noya British School in Abu Dhabi for the upcoming Academic Year AY2026/27.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Building positive relationships with all members of the school community.
  • Working collaboratively with other educators to create engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and adapting to various teaching requirements.
  • Collaborating with curriculum support staff (when applicable) to promote children's development.

Specific Responsibilities:

Teaching and Learning:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Curriculum.
  • Organizing classroom resources and displays to establish a lively and interactive learning environment.
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that address the diverse needs of students in the classroom.
  • Motivating students through dynamic and imaginative teaching methods.
  • Assessing and evaluating students based on school assessment standards.

Assessment and Data:

  • Taking responsibility for the learning progress of a class.
  • Following assessment protocols and documenting student development using Target Tracker.
  • Leveraging assessment data to inform future planning, resource distribution, and interventions.
  • Updating parents and guardians on student progress during Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.

Behavior Management and Duties:

  • Complying with the school's behavior management policies.
  • Effectively managing classrooms with strategies tailored to meet students' needs, inspiring and challenging them.
  • Carrying out duties as directed in accordance with school policies.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field coupled with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

Minimum Experience:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience.

  • A genuine passion for teaching and a dedication to holistic child development.

  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or equivalent police clearance.
