Acle Academy is a thriving secondary school for 11–16-year-olds located in the heart of the Broadland area only 12 miles from the centre of Norwich. The English Faculty is a strong team of five teachers including a Progress Tutor who focuses on intervention. The faculty follows the AQA GCSE specification and has a well-established and high-quality resourced curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic colleague to join and lead this motivated team. We are looking for a committed, proactive and hardworking Head of Faculty, with excellent subject knowledge and a sense of passion for English that can be communicated effectively to inspire children and staff alike. The successful candidate will be required to teach English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. As a faculty leader, the successful candidate will contribute to the strategic direction of the school through the extended leadership team.
