The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to inspire every pupil to achieve their full potential. You will plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons, create a positive learning environment, and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider Trust.

Alongside teaching, as Head of MFL, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a vibrant MFL department, inspiring both students and colleagues to excel. This additional responsibility attracts a TLR allowance.

About You

• A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and QTS.
• French and/or German language specialist.
• The ability to offer Spanish is desirable.
• Proven strategies to support learning for all pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Creativity and flexibility in your teaching approach.
• Strong behaviour management skills that build mutual respect.
• A good understanding of curriculum developments within subject area.
• A willingness to embrace technology and new ways of working.
• A growth mindset and commitment to your own professional learning.
