Dubai Heights Academy is a nurturing and inviting workplace situated in the Al Barsha South region of Dubai. We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivational Maths teacher to join our team as maternity cover from mid-November 2024 until late January or early February 2025. Some flexibility regarding the start and end dates may be necessary.

Since our establishment in 2017, we have been dedicated to providing an inclusive, dynamic, and exceptional education to a diverse student body ranging from FS1 to Year 11, with plans to expand organically up to Year 13.

Our state-of-the-art campus features distinct buildings for each educational phase along with a 380-seat auditorium. We offer three temperature-controlled swimming pools, fully equipped science and computer labs, specialized rooms for art, design technology, music, and drama, a library, two multifunctional sports halls, a full-sized football pitch, various outdoor play areas, and a spacious dining area. The academic year 2024-2025 will see the launch of a brand new secondary building, significantly enhancing our current offerings.

Dubai Heights Academy provides a curriculum that caters to the needs of all our students, grounded in the National Curriculum for England, which has been adapted to comply with local requirements. It is enriched with Arabic language, Islamic Studies, Moral Education, and Social Studies. Furthermore, we have partnered with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to create and implement a tailored AI (artificial intelligence) project-based program for secondary students, as well as an early language program utilizing social robots for primary students, further enriching our comprehensive curriculum.

Dubai Heights Academy is currently inviting applications from enthusiastic and skilled Secondary Maths teachers who possess a strong understanding of the subject and can contribute to ongoing improvements in student progress and achievement.

We expect all candidates to be well-qualified, self-driven, adaptable, creative, and eager to join a team dedicated to academic excellence.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- A B.Ed. or a degree with a PGCE/PGDE or equivalent, demonstrating exceptional subject knowledge
- A minimum of three years’ experience with the National Curriculum for England
- Experience teaching GCSE

Interviews will be conducted at Dubai Heights Academy or via Zoom if an in-person meeting is not feasible. The application deadline is 25th October 2024. Interviews may be scheduled before the closing date, so early applications are encouraged.
