About This Role

Due to a rise in student enrollment, Al Rabeeh Academy is looking for a passionate, flexible, and dedicated Secondary Maths Lead Teacher (Suitable for ECT Teachers) to start in January.

As a bilingual private school serving students from FS1 to Year 13, Al Rabeeh Academy delivers both the English National Curriculum and Arabic. Applicants must demonstrate an understanding of the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh Academy, which has a significant population of Arabic-speaking students. The selected candidate will be an adept communicator, capable of fostering open dialogue with students, staff, and parents. A commitment to leading by example and actively participating in the Academy’s extra-curricular activities is essential.

Candidates should be fluent in English, possess a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and have at least 2 years of teaching experience in schools that implement the National Curriculum of England.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Provide professional leadership and management for the Maths curriculum area, ensuring alignment with national standards and school policies.

• Deliver a suitable curriculum for our students while adhering to the school’s aims and curriculum directives.

• Inspire colleagues with a shared vision, promoting high-quality teaching, efficient resource utilization, and elevated learning standards for all students.

• Fulfill standard teacher responsibilities through an appropriate teaching program.

• Support the professional development of educators and improve overall teaching practices.

• Monitor students' progress and development in Maths, serving as a form tutor.

• Advocate for Maths beyond conventional school hours, showcasing excellent subject knowledge of the national curriculum.

• Exhibit strong classroom management skills, expertise in Maths, and the capability to teach across KS3 and KS4, with an emphasis on 21st-century learning, IT integration, and support for EAL students.

• Experience in teaching A-levels is required.

• Ability to foster creative learning and prioritize the development of innovative skills in 21st-century learning environments.

• Proficiency in using IT to engage and enhance student learning experiences.

• Experience utilizing data from internal assessments, standardized tests, and external evaluations to monitor student progress.

• Essential experience in teaching EAL students.
