Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the GEMS Core Values of innovation, excellence, lifelong learning, and global citizenship in all teaching and student interactions.
- Develop and present engaging lessons that align with curriculum standards and best practices in inquiry-based learning.
- Tailor instruction to accommodate the diverse needs of all learners, including English Language Learners and students identified as gifted and talented.
- Cultivate a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages collaboration, curiosity, and student well-being.
- Utilize technology and innovative strategies to enhance the learning experience.
- Evaluate student progress through diverse, authentic assessment methods and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cohesive units and contribute to ongoing curriculum development.
- Actively engage in the school’s co-curricular and community programs to support holistic learning.
