About the Role:
As a Secondary Learning Support Teacher, you will play a key role in ensuring every student can access learning, thrive academically and develop confidence in their abilities. You will plan and deliver high‑quality support sessions tailored to a wide range of needs, using varied teaching methods to stimulate engagement and promote progress. You will work closely with class teachers to adapt lessons, set appropriate targets and contribute to meaningful assessments and reports. By modelling excellent classroom practice and maintaining high expectations, you will help create a positive, inclusive and well‑managed learning environment. Your role also involves monitoring the impact of interventions, using data to inform teaching, and actively participating in the wider life of the school through staff development, pastoral responsibilities and extra‑curricular activities.

This is a permanent, full-time role, with a start date in 31/08/2026.

Who We Are Looking For:
You are an organised, proactive and compassionate educator who is passionate about helping young people succeed. You bring strong subject knowledge, a clear understanding of effective teaching and assessment, and the ability to support, challenge and stretch students appropriately. You enjoy working collaboratively and can manage change with sensitivity and professionalism. You hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent), demonstrate an instinctive commitment to safeguarding, and still genuinely love working with young people.
