About the Role:
Teaching assistants are tasked with aiding the educational and social growth of students under the direction of the head teacher, SENCO, and class teachers, while adhering to professional standards that align with the school and system policies in interactions with students, their records, parents, and colleagues. The Learning Support Staff will assist teachers in addressing children’s personal needs and ensuring their safety at all times.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a commencement date in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fully engage in the life of the school community, supporting its unique mission, ethos, and policies, while encouraging pupils to embody these values.
• Adhere to the school’s Health and Safety policy and conduct risk assessments as necessary.
• Take responsibility for supervising students both inside and outside the classroom, including during playtime and lunch duties.
• Accept any additional responsibilities as they arise.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
