About This Role
POSITION: KEY STAGE 1 TEACHER
Highgate International School Thailand is set to open its doors in August 2026. This prestigious international institution, located in the picturesque province of Chonburi, will serve students aged 2 to 18.
In collaboration with Siam Motors Group and Highgate School in London, the school will offer staff access to an array of exceptional facilities, including a full-sized FIFA-approved football pitch, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a 450-seat auditorium, a black-box theatre, a STEM building, and a Library and Digital Media Centre. The school will benefit from a storied academic tradition that spans 460 years.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Key Stage 1 Teacher will:
· Design, execute, and evaluate an engaging curriculum for a class of capable multi-lingual students, utilizing either the Early Years and Foundation Stage framework or Key Stage 1 objectives derived from the English National Curriculum.
· Collect, analyze, and leverage both formative and summative assessment data.
· Inspire curiosity, diligence, engagement, enthusiasm, a sense of community, and kindness among students.
· Operate in alignment with school policy and advocate for the broader interests of the school.
· Make a positive contribution to a school culture that emphasizes the maintenance of high standards.
· Communicate efficiently with members of the wider school community.
· Participate in regular meetings and assist in ensuring the safe operation of the school campus.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The Key Stage 1 Teacher will:
· Be a fully qualified primary teacher with QTS.
· Bring a minimum of three years of post-qualification teaching experience.
· Have comprehensive knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
· Possess experience in supporting the development of young learners who speak English as an additional language.
