RAK Academy - Al Hamra

Situated in the southern part of Ras Al Khaimah within the Al Hamra community, RAK Academy – Al Hamra is an expanding primary and lower secondary institution that implements an adapted UK National Curriculum from Pre-K to Grade 8 along with UAE MOE subjects. Our new secondary school for Grades 6 to 8 will welcome its first cohort in August 2026. We are accredited by the British Schools Overseas (BSO), ensuring our standards meet those of leading international British schools and we are equipped to provide full ECT induction support to teachers.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive and efficient Administration Assistant to facilitate the daily functions of our school in Al Rams. This pivotal role involves delivering high-quality administrative support to the Heads of School and academic leaders, ensuring seamless coordination among staff, students, and parents. The ideal applicant will exhibit strong organizational capabilities, a commitment to customer service, and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position is essential to the heartbeat of our school community.

Essential



A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not essential.


Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.


Bilingual proficiency in both English and Arabic (written, reading, and spoken).


Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure while achieving excellent results.


Competent in utilizing various IT systems, including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.


Familiarity with school communication applications and software systems (iSams, Dojo, Learning ladders, etc.) is preferred but not required.


Capable of efficiently and accurately analyzing and synthesizing key information and data.


Strong skills in organization and prioritization, demonstrating initiative and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals.


Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptable to a multicultural environment.


Commitment to the Academy and a readiness to uphold its positive reputation both internally and externally.
