Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Awal (KBZA) School is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and competent Health, Safety, Facilities & Compliance Specialist to join our staff for the academic year 25-2026 (Term 3, starting April 2026). This is an exceptional chance to play a key role in a pioneering public school in Abu Dhabi.

Key Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.


NEBOSH / IOSH Certification (International General Certificate preferred).


Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards is preferred.


At least 3 years of experience in Health & Safety in a school or equivalent operational setting.


Proven experience in coordinating facilities and managing contractors.


In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation and compliance frameworks.


Capability in risk assessment and incident investigation.


Experience in facilities coordination and contractor oversight.


Strong skills in documentation and reporting.


Ability to thrive under pressure and handle multiple priorities.


Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
