Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled educator to fill the role of Curriculum/Advanced Placement (AP) Coordinator, which is structured as a 0.5 FTE leadership position paired with a 0.5 FTE secondary teaching schedule.

This position will facilitate the development, execution, and quality assurance of the High School curriculum, with a specific focus on enhancing the school’s Advanced Placement (AP) program. The role is set to begin as an ongoing 0.5 FTE coordination position starting in the upcoming academic year.

The successful applicant will play a vital role both strategically and operationally in aligning curriculum, ensuring instructional quality, and creating university-preparatory academic pathways.

Teaching Allocation

The position includes a teaching timetable of 0.5 FTE. Subject assignments will be determined based on:


The candidate's subject expertise and qualifications


The staffing requirements of the school


The priorities of the program and timetable

Candidates with experience in teaching advanced, college-preparatory, or examination courses are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities


Curriculum Leadership and Development


Aid in the design, review, and alignment of curriculum across divisions to ensure consistency with school learning outcomes and external standards.


Support departments in developing course scope and sequence documents, unit plans, and assessment frameworks.


Collaborate with leadership to ensure curriculum documentation satisfies accreditation and quality assurance standards.


Oversee the implementation of new courses and provide feedback to foster ongoing improvement.

Program Development (AP Preparation Phase)


Work alongside school leadership to strategize the phased introduction and growth of Advanced Placement courses.


Assist in identifying suitable AP subject offerings based on student readiness, staffing capabilities, and strategic goals.


Help in creating timelines, policies, and procedures necessary for AP program authorization and compliance with College Board expectations.


Organize professional learning opportunities for educators preparing to teach AP-level courses.

Teaching and Learning Support


Offer instructional coaching and curriculum assistance to teachers, especially concerning academic rigor, standards alignment, and assessment practices.


Aid in evaluating and refining course outlines to ensure alignment with university-preparatory pathways.


Promote the use of data-driven instruction by analyzing internal and external assessment results.

Data Monitoring and Academic Quality Assurance


Gather, analyze, and report on student performance data to pinpoint trends and areas for enhancement.


Support the establishment of systems that track student readiness for advanced academic pathways.


Assist leadership in assessing the effectiveness of both new and existing programs.

Communication and Collaboration


Work closely with department leaders, counselors, and senior leadership to facilitate student academic advancement.


Act as a point of contact for curriculum-related inquiries from staff and parents as needed.


Keep accurate program documentation and aid in reporting for accreditation or external review purposes.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Educational Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).


Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional leadership, or program coordination.


Strong grasp of USCC standards-based instruction and university-preparatory pathways.


Exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities.


Capacity to analyze academic data and contribute to improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications


Experience teaching advanced or college-preparatory courses.


Familiarity with the structures of the Advanced Placement program or College Board expectations.


Experience in supporting accreditation or curriculum review processes.

₫76,508,000 - ₫99,000,000 per month (Salary and housing allowance, other benefits)
