About This Role
We are on the lookout for a skilled and seasoned Mathematics Teacher to begin in September 2026!
We invite applications from well-qualified and experienced Mathematics educators to become part of our secondary team. The ideal candidate will be able to teach all levels of secondary education, including the IB Diploma Programme.
This full-time role is designed for a proactive and effective teacher who can engage students, foster a passion for mathematics, and achieve excellent academic results. The right candidate will showcase strong subject knowledge, a clear understanding of curriculum development, and a diverse range of teaching techniques to address the varied needs of students.
Responsibilities will include instructing Mathematics at Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and the IB Diploma Programme (preferably Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches SL and HL).
We are searching for a flexible, enthusiastic, and globally minded educator dedicated to maintaining high standards while inspiring curiosity, confidence, and enjoyment in mathematics among students.
Qualifications:
• A university degree in Mathematics;
• Relevant secondary teaching qualifications;
• Proficiency in English;
• Thorough understanding of the requirements for IB/IGCSE examinations;
• Experience with IB DP Maths Internal Assessments, including providing feedback and marking/annotating IAs.

Key responsibilities:
• Curriculum Delivery: Create and deliver well-organized mathematics lessons that align with the school's curriculum and educational goals;
• Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student performance using various formative and summative assessments, offering constructive feedback to facilitate their development;
• Innovation: Employ innovative teaching strategies and technology to enrich the learning experience and boost student involvement;
• Differentiated Instruction: Address the diverse needs of students by utilizing differentiated instruction methods, ensuring that all learners progress;
• Classroom Management: Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages respect and supports students' emotional well-being;
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices in mathematics education;
• Parent Communication: Work collaboratively with parents to provide regular updates on students' progress as well as communicate any concerns or successes;
• Extracurricular Activities: Opportunities may be available to engage in or lead extracurricular activities such as external mathematics competitions or other interests.
