Reports to: TA Manager/Deputy Headteacher
Hours: 33 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, term time only + 5 inset days
Salary: Grade 5, SCP 6-11, £20,582 - £22,287 actual (FTE £25,989 - £28,142)
Start date: As soon as possible
We are seeking a teaching assistant to collaborate with classroom educators, offering support to students and aiding them in overcoming their learning challenges. You will utilize curriculum programs to guide groups of learners in enhancing their literacy and numeracy skills, while also providing feedback on their progress and achievements.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality assistance to children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, facilitating improvements in their academic performance. The team operates in diverse ways, such as offering one-on-one support, delivering academic interventions in designated Faculty areas and classrooms, playing an integral part in the school’s inclusion base, and closely collaborating with the pastoral team to provide targeted support aimed at raising student aspirations.
You will become part of a dedicated and thoughtful team of teaching assistants who work effectively both collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work autonomously.
