The Position - SENCO (Whole School)

This is a remarkable opportunity for an individual with the necessary qualities, skills, and experience to join our team and help establish Downe House Riyadh as the leading girls' school in Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and proactive SENCO to head our Special Educational Needs department. The role entails developing and managing individualized education plans (IEPs), offering direct support to students, and guiding staff in implementing inclusive learning through adaptive teaching strategies.

The ideal candidate will not only be knowledgeable in SEN best practices but will also demonstrate an understanding of the cultural context of the Kingdom, ensuring effective and respectful support. - Actively participates in the co-curricular program and whole-school initiatives, promoting a sense of community.
- Collaborates supportively with all staff, ensuring open communication with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
- Demonstrates a flexible and positive approach, with a sincere commitment to going above and beyond for pupils with SEN.
