About BISAK

BISAK is one of the oldest British Curriculum Schools in Saudi Arabia. The school transitioned to a new campus after spending 22 years at its previous location (1998-2018). Our campus is situated in the new residential area of As Sadafah in Al Khobar.

BISAK is a co-educational, international institution offering a British-style education to around 930 pupils aged 3-18. The school operates under Saudi Arabian Law as a private, non-profit entity and is registered with the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia as a ‘Foreign Community School.’ Additionally, it is recognized by the Department for Education (DfE) in the UK.

Our mission at BISAK is to provide the highest quality British education while enriching pupils’ educational experiences with the local culture. The unique British character of our school is a significant draw for families and staff, along with our excellent reputation with the KSA Ministry of Education. We take pride in our diverse community, with BISAK pupils representing over 50 nationalities, creating a distinctive experience that is unmatched in the UK. Parents appreciate our innovative teaching approaches and our commitment to keeping abreast of UK and international educational initiatives, as reflected in the positive feedback we receive from both current and departing families.

We uphold high standards academically and beyond, guided by our school values:

- B Belief – fostering positive attitudes, consideration, and helping others.
- I Internationalism – developing global citizenship.
- S Success – embracing learning in everything we undertake.
- A Aspiration – believing that nothing is impossible.
- K Knowledge – understanding ourselves, each other, and the world around us.

As a selective school, all pupils undergo an admission and assessment process and must meet our minimum standards to enroll. Consequently, we do not have a dedicated SEN department. While English is not the first language for most of our pupils, they are required to demonstrate a good level of English proficiency upon entry, which minimizes the need for extensive support. However, we do offer assistance across the curriculum and directly in English lessons when needed.
