About BISAK:

BISAK is one of the oldest British Curriculum Schools in Saudi Arabia. The school transitioned to a new campus after 22 years at our previous site (1998-2018). Located in the new residential area of As Sadafah in Al Khobar, our school serves approximately 930 pupils aged 3-18 in a co-educational, international setting. It operates as a private, non-profit institution under Saudi Arabian Law and is registered with the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia as a ‘Foreign Community School’, as well as with the Department for Education (DfE) in the UK.

BISAK strives to provide the highest quality British education while enriching pupils’ educational experiences with local culture. The school’s distinctive British character attracts families and staff alike and is complemented by an excellent reputation with the Ministry of Education, KSA. We take pride in our multicultural community, with pupils representing over 50 nationalities, creating a unique educational experience. Parents value our innovative teaching and learning approaches and our commitment to staying current with UK and international educational initiatives, as reflected in the positive feedback we receive from both current and former families.

Our pupils achieve high standards academically and beyond, guided by our school values:

B Belief – cultivating positive attitudes, consideration, and helping others.
I Internationalism – developing as global citizens.
S Success – embracing continuous learning in all endeavors.
A Aspiration – believing that nothing is impossible.
K Knowledge – understanding ourselves, others, and the world around us.

We are a selective school. All pupils undergo an admissions and assessment process and must meet our minimum standards to secure a place. As such, we do not have a dedicated SEN department. While English is not the first language for many of our pupils, those entering the school are expected to have a good level of English proficiency, so extensive support is not required. However, we do provide support across the curriculum and through English lessons as needed.
