About BISAK:
BISAK stands as one of the oldest British Curriculum Schools in Saudi Arabia. After relocating from our previous site of 22 years (1998-2018), we now operate on a large campus situated in the new residential area of As Sadafah in Al Khobar.
BISAK is a co-educational international school offering a British-style education to approximately 930 students aged 3-18. The school is recognized under Saudi Arabian Law as a private and non-profit institution and is registered as a ‘Foreign Community School’ with the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia, as well as with the Department for Education (DfE) in the UK.
Our goal at BISAK is to provide the highest quality British education while enriching the educational experience of our pupils with the local culture's vibrancy. The school's distinct British character is a significant draw for both families and staff, complemented by our excellent reputation with the Ministry of Education in KSA. We take pride in our multicultural community, with BISAK students representing over 50 nationalities, creating a unique experience unlike any other in the UK. Parents commend the school for its innovative teaching and learning methods and its commitment to staying current with UK and international initiatives, as reflected in the positive feedback received from both current and departing families.
Our pupils achieve high standards academically and beyond, guided by our school values:
- B Belief – fostering positive attitudes, consideration, and a spirit of helping others.
- I Internationalism – cultivating global citizens.
- S Success – embracing learning in all endeavors.
- A Aspiration – believing that nothing is impossible.
- K Knowledge – understanding ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
We are a selective school; all students undergo an admission and assessment process to meet our minimum expectations for enrollment. Consequently, we do not maintain a dedicated SEN department. Given the nature of our student body, where English is not the first language for many, we require pupils to demonstrate a good level of English proficiency upon entry, thus minimizing the need for extensive support. However, we do provide assistance across the curriculum and through English lessons as needed.
