Laboratory Technician
About This Role
We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Senior School team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our dedicated and professional Science Department. Given the diverse nature of this position, applicants should be adaptable and possess strong organizational skills.
This is a full-time position, requiring work 5 days per week for approximately 36 weeks during the school year, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Job sharing may be considered for suitable candidates.
To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Have a background in science
- Possess relevant prior experience and be familiar with handling chemicals and scientific apparatus
- Have a solid understanding of laboratory Health & Safety (including CLEAPSS)
- Be dedicated to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
- Be engaged with the School's ethos, demonstrating creativity and reflection within a collaborative and hardworking team
