The Role
The Intervention Lead will manage the school’s Hub provision, comprising three dedicated rooms, providing a calm, purposeful and supportive environment for students experiencing barriers to learning. The postholder will plan and deliver targeted individual and small-group interventions, including SEMH, emotional literacy, numeracy, literacy and reading, attendance, engagement, behaviour in readiness to learn.
Working closely with teaching, pastoral, SEND and attendance staff, the Intervention Lead will identify need, monitor the impact of interventions and support students to develop the skills, strategies and confidence needed to overcome barriers, re-engage successfully with learning and achieve sustained improvements in attendance, engagement and progress.Please see the attached Job Description for full details of the responsibilities and expectations of this role.
