Head of Kindergarten
About This Role
Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science, in partnership with King's College School, Wimbledon, and RDFZ Beijing, is seeking a dedicated, innovative, and experienced Head of Kindergarten to lead our early childhood education program at a prestigious K–12 international and bilingual school in China, with a start date set for August 2026.
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of early years education, a proven track record in managing kindergarten programs within Mainland China, and exceptional interpersonal skills for fostering strong connections with families, educators, and the wider school community. This role is vital in developing strategies for market enrollment and student retention, aimed at driving sustainable growth and ensuring satisfaction among all stakeholders.
Kindergarten
Our bilingual kindergarten offers a dynamic, activity-based curriculum in both Chinese and English for children aged 3–6, effectively integrating the strengths of both Chinese and international educational methodologies to establish a solid foundation for Grade 1 and beyond. Through a combination of play, exploration, and creative projects—indoors and outdoors—children develop self-regulation, curiosity, and essential skills across seven learning domains. Each class is co-led by a Chinese teacher and an international educator, creating a nurturing atmosphere that supports each child’s language development and overall well-being.
Salary and benefits
The compensation and benefits package for this prestigious role reflects our ambitions. In addition to a competitive salary, the package includes premium housing, flights, and medical insurance for the employee and their dependents. Full tuition support will be provided for any successful candidate with school-age children. The position will initially be offered on a three-year contract, with the possibility of annual renewals thereafter.
