The Opportunity
As a result of our school's ongoing expansion, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic Head of Computing to commence in August 2025.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading our expanding Computing Department and collaborating with colleagues at Cheltenham Muscat to establish the finest Computing Department in the city. This position presents a remarkable opportunity for an inspiring educator to head a highly skilled department and join the team that aims to position Cheltenham Muscat as the premier educational institution in Oman.

The School
Cheltenham Muscat, which opened its doors in September 2021, is Oman’s first premium British school, catering to boys and girls aged 3 to 18. Located on a state-of-the-art campus, both students and teachers at Cheltenham Muscat enjoy world-class facilities that support both academic and extracurricular learning, complemented by the strong backing of our partner school, Cheltenham College, which has been dedicated to providing outstanding education for over 180 years.
The Person
We seek a dedicated educator who is passionate about their vocation and driven by the potential to inspire our exceptional students. The successful applicant will set high standards for themselves and their students, both academically and personally, demonstrating a positive attitude and the ability to foster strong relationships within our school community.
Candidates must possess at least three full years of relevant teaching experience to qualify for a work permit in Oman.
