Downe House Riyadh is currently inviting applications from individuals interested in potential teaching positions for the Academic Year 2025 – 26.
Established in September 2022, Downe House Riyadh is the first premium British private all-girls’ school in Saudi Arabia, catering to students aged 3-18 (Boys Pre-School-Year 4). The launch of a new educational institution is always an exhilarating venture, and as we approach our third year, Downe House Riyadh delivers a world-class curriculum. Our genuine partnership with Downe House UK continues to flourish, drawing on over a century of expertise from one of the UK's most esteemed all-girls’ schools, consistently recognized among the top five in the country.
Located in the northern part of Riyadh within the distinguished Aqeeq neighborhood, Downe House Riyadh has adapted its curriculum thoughtfully for the Saudi Arabian context, ensuring excellence in Arabic language and Islamic Studies, along with other subjects. The school operates within the framework of a UK independent school, and we encourage all staff to actively engage in co-curricular activities with a positive outlook.
We plan to conduct interviews with shortlisted candidates based in the UK at Downe House UK on January 4th and 5th.
The Position - EYFS Teacher
Downe House Riyadh is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated EYFS Class Teacher who is committed to laying strong foundational learning blocks in line with the UK EYFS Framework. In this role, you will be essential in nurturing students' curiosity, promoting critical thinking, and instilling vital skills that support their long-term educational journey, guided by the Downe House DNA Values. You should possess experience as an EYFS Practitioner and be eager to collaborate with a dynamic team of like-minded professionals.
As many of our students are developing English as an Additional Language (EAL), you will implement effective strategies to facilitate language acquisition while promoting academic growth, ensuring that all learners can engage with and thrive in the curriculum. While specialist teachers cover the Ministry of Education subjects, you will provide pupils with a comprehensive and balanced curriculum, employing creative and adaptive teaching methods to cater to varied learning needs.
