About This Role

Garden House School is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to become a part of our Early Years team. This is an excellent chance to work in a nurturing and supportive setting, helping our youngest students embark on their educational journey.

We seek an individual who is enthusiastic about early childhood development and is committed to facilitating high-quality teaching and learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the class teacher to enhance children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will involve working with individuals and small groups, assisting with routines and transitions, and contributing to the creation of an engaging and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Candidates should ideally possess a minimum Level 3 CACHE Diploma (or an equivalent qualification) in Early Years/Childcare, along with experience in an EYFS environment.

We are considering applicants who are available for full-time work starting in the new academic year in September 2026.

For more details, please contact Miss Sarah Pitt in the HR Department via email at sarah@gardenhouseschool.co.uk.

Please submit your completed application forms to sarah@gardenhouseschool.co.uk, including a personal statement that outlines your reasons for applying and highlights your relevant experience and qualifications. Any employment gaps should also be addressed within your statement.

Garden House School is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants must be prepared to undergo appropriate child protection screening, including checks with previous employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Evidence of the right to work in the UK must also be provided.
