About This Role
Adcote Matrix International School (AMIS), a well-established international institution, is situated in Seremban, Malaysia, approximately 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, the capital city. We provide a comprehensive and innovative educational framework that includes the Early Years and Primary Cambridge International Curriculum, International Primary Curriculum (IPC), as well as the Secondary Cambridge curriculum leading to IGCSE and A Level qualifications.

Position Overview
We are in search of a committed teacher with experience in IGCSE and A Level instruction, along with some experience in KS3 science. The ideal candidate will have the ability to present complex concepts in a manner that is both engaging and accessible to all students.
Your teaching will aim to foster a hands-on learning atmosphere, allowing students to perform experiments, engage in problem-solving tasks, and relate theoretical knowledge to practical situations. By utilizing interactive demonstrations, technology, and collaborative initiatives, you will encourage critical thinking and help students develop a solid understanding of foundational physics principles.
Your skill in simplifying challenging topics into digestible lessons will empower students to gain confidence in their abilities. You will highlight the links between physics and everyday life, showcasing how scientific concepts influence our world. Your dynamic teaching approach will inspire students to inquire, explore new ideas, and deepen their interest in science.
Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to mentor and support students beyond the classroom through extracurricular activities such as science clubs, competitions, and field trips. These experiences will not only reinforce what students learn in class but also motivate them to pursue their enthusiasm for physics outside of school.
Education Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area along with a postgraduate teaching qualification. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Leadership roles require pertinent and recent experience.
