We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Teacher of Design & Technology to become part of our Secondary Section.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize student wellbeing by providing exceptional pastoral care and creating a supportive, inclusive environment where every learner feels valued and secure.
  • Employ a research-informed approach to planning and delivering captivating lessons that inspire, support, and challenge all students.
  • Foster a positive educational atmosphere in which students gain the skills, knowledge, and understanding necessary for their success.

  • Exhibit and promote a love for lifelong learning, aiding in the development of skills that empower students as learners.
  • Utilize diverse assessment and feedback strategies to ensure students are informed of their next steps, supporting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design innovative and stimulating learning experiences across various subject areas.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Design Technology, Engineering, Industrial Design, or Education with a relevant specialization (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Design & Technology, with specializations in areas such as Resistant Materials, Textiles, or Food Technology, ideally within an international or British curriculum setting.
  • Experience with GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, or IB Diploma Design Technology is highly desirable.
  • Proficient command of the English language, alongside outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A demonstrated commitment to professional development, teamwork, and promoting student achievement.
