We are seeking a passionate and qualified Art Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a native or fluent English speaker with a background in design and experience working with children. This role involves teaching art to primary school students in an ESL (English as a Second Language) environment, developing an engaging art curriculum, and fostering a love for creativity and self-expression in young learners.

Plan and deliver engaging art lessons to primary school students in English, ensuring lessons are accessible to ESL learners.

Develop and implement a comprehensive art curriculum that aligns with the school’s educational goals and encourages creativity, experimentation, and artistic growth.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of students.

Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.

Incorporate elements of design and various art techniques into lessons to provide students with a well-rounded artistic education.

Organize and display student artwork to celebrate their achievements and promote the art program within the school community.

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into cross-curricular projects and school events.

Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress, maintaining records of their development.

Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.

Native or fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.

Teaching certification or equivalent qualification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, PGCE) is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children, preferably in a teaching or educational setting.

Strong background in design and a deep understanding of various art techniques and mediums.

Experience creating and implementing art curricula for primary school students.

Ability to teach art in an ESL environment, with a focus on making lessons accessible and engaging for non-native English speakers.

Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

Creative, patient, and passionate about fostering artistic expression in children.

Willingness to adapt to a new cultural environment and work collaboratively within a diverse team.
