We are looking for two excellent candidates to ensure the academy is a calm and safe environment where students can thrive. To support a visible presence, a physical requirement for Positive Behaviour Support Officers is to visit classrooms and patrol corridors to ensure all students are in lessons and engaging with their learning.
As part of the RESET (on call) system, Positive Behaviour Support Officers will support students who need to regulate their behaviour, escorting to one of the inclusion rooms to RESET, reflect and reengage. Positive Behaviour Support Officers will be skilled professionals who can deescalate behaviour. They will support the Inclusion Manager to ensure students engage with learning in the RESET Inclusion Room and attend timetabled intervention sessions.
