The Role

Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 17/04/2026, End Date: 27/01/2027 (New entrant overflow)

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

Subjects include:

Key Responsibilities

As a New Entrant Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.


• Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans.


• Assessing and monitoring student progress.


• Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student learning.


• Participating in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid teaching certification.


• Experience or a strong interest in teaching young learners.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
