About This Role

Avenor College is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Head of Mathematics to spearhead an engaging, diverse, and collaborative department while contributing to Mathematics instruction from KS3 to A Level. We invite experienced Mathematics educators who are prepared to inspire and lead students across KS3-5.

Our facilities boast well-equipped classrooms within a cutting-edge Senior building. The college promotes a variety of avenues for both personal and professional growth, empowering teachers with voice, choice, and agency.

At the A Level, our students engage with the CAIE 9709 curriculum, having previously studied the CAIE 0580 Mathematics syllabus. In Key Stage 3, students follow the Cambridge Secondary 1 Curriculum, culminating in the Cambridge Checkpoint external examination at the end of Grade 8. The outcomes, in conjunction with other metrics, reflect the effective execution of our Mathematics learning program.
