Egypt British International School (EBIS) is seeking a passionate and experienced EYFS Classroom Teacher to join our team for the 2026 academic year. This role is integral to our mission of Enriching – Exploring – Excelling and embodies our core values of enrichment, empowerment, esteem, and excellence.

We are looking for an enthusiastic early years educator who is committed to fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in a supportive and culturally vibrant British curriculum setting. The successful candidate will create an engaging and nurturing foundation that promotes the academic, social, and emotional development of children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.

Requirements:


A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field, along with recognized Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent credential.


A minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience in an EYFS environment, preferably in a British or international school.


In-depth knowledge of the EYFS Framework and early years educational practices.


Experience with play-based and inquiry-driven teaching methods.


Ability to observe, assess, and monitor early years development effectively.


Strong classroom management skills suited for early childhood settings.


Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Description:


Create and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities that align with the EYFS Framework.


Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes exploration and independence.


Observe, assess, and document children’s progress using both formative and summative assessment strategies.


Provide personalized support to meet individual learning and developmental needs.


Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with school policies and safeguarding standards.


Build strong relationships with parents/guardians to support children’s learning and wellbeing.


Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.


Encourage positive behavior, social skills, and emotional resilience in students.


Take part in weekly CPD sessions and commit to continuous professional growth.


Participate in enrichment activities and contribute to school events.
