Position Summary:
- Create and deliver engaging English lessons for students across different year groups (Year 7-13), encompassing MYP, IGCSE, and DP curricula.
- Collaborate with the Head of English and a team of 12 educators to design and exchange innovative teaching units and resources.
- Employ inquiry-based learning strategies to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
- Teach a variety of courses, including IB MYP, IGCSE First and Second Language English, IGCSE World Literature, and IBDP English A and B.
- Supervise students enrolled in self-taught IBDP Languages as needed.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes a positive departmental culture and excellent examination results.
- Participate in the co-curricular program, engaging with students outside of regular classroom hours.
General Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree in any other field along with a Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE).
- Knowledge of the MYP and its foundational principles is a plus.
- Newly qualified teachers or those with teaching experience in a recognized educational institution are welcome to apply.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The iPGCE (assessment only) does not qualify for Teacher Registration status from the Hong Kong Education Bureau, which is necessary for teaching at an ESF school.
