ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Skownan School serves students from Nursery to Grade 9, hosting 130 learners, 10 educators, and 17 support staff. It is situated in Skownan, roughly an hour and a half northeast of Dauphin. The community offers essential services such as a gas bar, convenience store, restaurant, and a health centre. The local economy is significantly supported by hunting, fishing, and eco-tourism activities.

WHAT YOU BRING
• A Bachelor of Education Degree along with a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for one).
• A solid understanding of provincial curricula.
• Prior teaching experience.
• Proficiency in utilizing school-based technology.
• Effective classroom management abilities.
• Familiarity with Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset).
• Experience in a northern community (considered an asset).
