Curriculum Overview:

Doha British School adheres to the National Curriculum of England, tailored to incorporate Qatar’s culture, heritage, and values. Ideal candidates must possess:

A recognized educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.

A valid teaching certification, such as a PGCE or QTS, along with an Early Career Teaching Certificate (the PGCE should be backed by a subject-relevant bachelor's degree).

At least two years of teaching experience (international experience is a plus but not mandatory).

In-depth subject knowledge, particularly with the National Curriculum of England.

A strong enthusiasm for creating a student-centered learning atmosphere.

A dedication to professional development and a collaborative teaching approach.

A proven history of delivering exceptional teaching and learning outcomes.

This position is set to begin in September 2026; however, staff members are anticipated to be present in the country by mid-August for orientation and onboarding.
