Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a fully qualified and seasoned Key Stage 2 Primary teacher to join our enthusiastic and committed team. The successful candidate will possess a genuine passion for teaching, a dedication to the comprehensive development of children, and a collaborative spirit that aligns with the school’s ethos, values, and objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
• A recognized degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution, along with a PGCE, QTS, or another internationally acknowledged teaching qualification.
• A minimum of three years' teaching experience within a primary school setting.
• A strong dedication to maintaining high standards, employing diverse teaching methods, and evidence of continued professional development.
• Proficiency in utilizing modern educational information technology systems.
• Proven excellence in classroom practice in the relevant subject, ideally with external validation.
• Current knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide pastoral, academic, and behavioral support to students.
• Keep precise records of student progress and engage in formal assessment processes.
• Assist parents in making referrals to external agencies as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with parents, staff, and students on Individual Education Plans.
• Effectively communicate with parents through reports and meetings.
• Engage in and lead extra-curricular activities.
Salary and Benefits:
• Competitive salary ranging from CI$55,000 to CI$67,500 per year, tax-free, depending on experience and qualifications.
