NORD ANGLIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, HONG KONG is excited to announce the expansion of our Secondary division with the upcoming launch of a state-of-the-art Sixth Form Centre set to open in August 2026, which will offer IBDP, A-Levels, and BTEC programs.

We are seeking passionate Secondary Teachers for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 who are eager to motivate student-centered learning and make a significant difference in our students' lives.

We are currently looking for an ENGLISH TEACHER to join our Secondary team and contribute to outstanding English Language teaching and learning.

The role:

As a qualified Teacher of English Language, your duties will include:


Leading initiatives to boost student participation and promote school spirit.


Supporting enrichment activities and organizing school events.


Enhancing parental involvement through effective communication and progress updates.


Delivering engaging, inclusive, and impactful lessons.


Encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and design thinking.


Employing data-driven strategies to meet diverse learning needs.


Integrating digital tools to enhance learning experiences.


Serving as a Form Tutor and contributing to the IB curriculum.


Creating and implementing lesson plans that align with the curriculum.


Conducting thorough assessments and providing prompt feedback.


Participating in curriculum innovation and maintaining quality assurance.


Engaging in continuous professional development.


Reflecting on teaching practices to improve effectiveness.


Upholding school values and nurturing a positive school culture.

The Successful Candidate will possess:


A Bachelor of Education or a relevant degree with a PGCE in the English Language subject.


Qualified Teacher Status.


Experience as a qualified teacher in a UK and/or international setting.


English Language Training or a comparable qualification.


At least 2 years of teaching experience.


Understanding of student learning and development relevant to English Language instruction.


Familiarity with current educational trends in English Language.


Demonstrated awareness of broader educational developments.


Experience in elevating standards across diverse student groups.


Ability to plan, deliver, monitor, and assess lessons as part of the curriculum.


Knowledge of the English National Curriculum and relevant subject area.


Understanding of assessment and reporting procedures.


Familiarity with IGCSE, A Level, and IB syllabus and associated examination processes.


Ability to incorporate technology into the classroom to enhance student learning.


A current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries of residence.


Compliance with employment visa requirements.


A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, along with a willingness to undertake necessary child protection training.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
