Heathside Weybridge is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspirational Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our vibrant and supportive MFL department. We are particularly interested in a Spanish specialist with French as a second subject, who has the confidence and expertise to teach both languages to KS4.

The successful candidate will:

Be confident and enthusiastic about teaching Spanish and French to KS4, with Spanish as their principal subject specialism.

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for language education.

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging and appropriately differentiated lessons that inspire students and support excellent progress over time.

Set high expectations and provide appropriate challenge and support to ensure that all students can succeed.

Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.

Create a positive, inclusive and purposeful learning environment that promotes student participation, wellbeing and achievement.

Contribute positively to curriculum development and the wider life of the MFL department.

Support and contribute to extra-curricular language activities and opportunities that enrich students’ experience of languages.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to our supportive and collegiate department culture.
