About the Role
As a Secondary ESL Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality English language learning that supports students across a wide range of abilities. In this role, you will inspire a diverse range of learners by delivering high‑quality teaching that reflects high expectations, strong subject knowledge, and a genuine passion for your field. You will plan engaging lessons using a variety of effective teaching methods that stimulate curiosity and meet the needs of all students. You will use assessment data to guide your practice, monitor progress, and provide meaningful feedback that supports students to achieve their academic goals. As part of the school community, you will contribute to reports, maintain discipline in line with school procedures, and play an active role in wider responsibilities such as form tutoring, extracurricular activities, and staff development. You will also uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student wellbeing.
This is a permanent, full-time role, with a start date of 31/08/2026.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a committed, innovative educator who genuinely enjoys working with young people. You bring strong organisational skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for helping students achieve their best. You understand effective teaching, learning and assessment, and you manage change sensitively.
You hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or international equivalent), have a strong commitment to safeguarding, and remain enthusiastic about inspiring learners every day.
