The Role
We are seeking an experienced Secondary teacher of Computer Science and Mathematics to join the School from August 2026, due to the expansion of our Secondary Department. Candidates must be enthusiastic about teaching Secondary years in an inclusive school setting. We are looking for someone who is passionate about quality teaching and learning in an international setting, creative in their thinking and a student of learning. The successful candidate will also be adaptable, motivated by challenge and an excellent classroom practitioner.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant for the teaching post will require the following:
Good Bachelors Degree
Certificated teaching qualification: PGCE or equivalent
Relevant teaching experience in a UK or International setting following the Cambridge International Curriculum or the National Curriculum of England and Wales
Experience of teaching Computer Science and Mathematics in Secondary, also with possibility to teach Computer Science up to IGCSE and A level.
Fluent English language
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the pedagogy of Teaching & Learning
Innovative and inspirational practitioner
High expectations of students and the team
Experience of using technology to promote learning
Professional approach in line with the Teachers’ Standards
Adaptability of approach
Experience of writing Schemes of Learning and reacting to curriculum change
Excellent interpersonal skills
B or C permit to work and live in Switzerland are desirable.
