Science Technician

Science Technician wanted to join our Science department.

Band 3 (37 hours pw term time only plus 10 days)

We have a vacancy for an organised, hard working and flexible team player to join our successful Science department. Our technicians play a key role in the smooth day to day running of the department and you will join a team of four including one senior technician.

Main responsibilities include:• Assisting teachers in the Science department when preparing for practical lessons• Preparing and setting out equipment and materials for lessons• Promote the awareness of health and safety in the laboratory and show commitment to the safeguarding of our students• Maintenance of the stocks of science chemicals and equipment.

Our students make our school special; they are enthusiastic, talented and motivated to do well. We want the best for them and are looking to appoint a colleague who will add significant value to our school and support us in the drive to become truly outstanding.
