Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework.
- Foster students’ musical skills, creativity, and appreciation for diverse musical traditions.
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to integrate music into broader learning experiences.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate actively in school events, performances, and extracurricular activities related to music.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the primary/elementary level.
- Strong knowledge of the IB PYP curriculum or willingness to learn it thoroughly.
- Excellent classroom management skills with ability to engage young learners effectively.
- Proficiency in various musical instruments and vocal techniques preferred.
- Ability to design innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
