About This Role

Egham Park School is committed to providing high-quality education and support for SEND students.

Due to expansion we are currently seeking dedicated professionals to join our team in the following roles: Post 16 SEND Teacher/Tutor, Student Support Worker, Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), and Learning Support Assistant (LSA). These positions focus on supporting students across Key Stage 4 within a whole school curriculum.

Job Description

You will play an essential role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) as well as those requiring additional support. Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals, you will help create an inclusive environment that promotes student progress both academically and personally.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year’s experience working within a secondary education setting or similar environment
  • Relevant qualifications depending on role (e.g., Qualified Teacher Status for teachers; HLTA accreditation where applicable)
  • Strong understanding of SEND strategies and interventions
  • Ability to deliver tailored support to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent communication skills with students, parents/carers, and colleagues
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
