Outreach Tutor (Telford Area)
About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outreach Tutor to work with children and young people who are not currently in mainstream education across the Telford area. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference and can start immediately.
The Role:
Deliver one-to-one outreach tuition in the community or home settings.
Support learners with personalised education plans tailored to their individual needs.
Help build confidence, engagement, and positive learning behaviours.
Monitor and report on student progress.
Essential Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching qualification (minimum).
Experience working with children or young people, particularly those outside mainstream education.
A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach to learning.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to commit to sessions on a regular basis.
Confident, creative and adaptable planning skills.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
