About This Role

Wickersley Northfield Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.

At Wickersley Northfield, we want every child to feel that they belong, enjoy learning and have the opportunity to achieve their very best. We are looking for an HLTA who shares our high expectations for children and understands the difference that excellent classroom practice, strong relationships and consistent routines can make.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and leaders to support high-quality teaching and learning across school. They will be confident in leading learning for individuals, groups and whole classes, adapting provision to meet a range of needs and helping children to become confident, independent and successful learners.

We are looking for someone who is positive, flexible and reflective; who builds warm and respectful relationships with children; and who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team. Above all, they will put children at the heart of their work and be committed to making a positive difference every day.

Wickersley Northfield is proud to be part of White Woods Primary Academy Trust: a family of primary schools across Rotherham, united by a shared commitment to improving children’s lives. The Trust’s work is guided by its four core values—the 4Cs: Child-centred, Collaborative, Curious and Challenging.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school and Trust where professional learning, collaboration and high-quality classroom practice are valued.
