The Role

Our pupils require, for September 2026, an inspiring and enthusiastic Head of Faculty for English. This individual will also be an Associate Member of the Senior Leadership Team, as well as overseeing the leads for whole school literacy and oracy, a vital position which oversees one of the crucial elements of our School Improvement Plan. We are looking for an outstanding specialist - a person with vision, energy and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills in order to contribute to our overall success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the English Faculty and lead on whole school literacy and oracy initiatives.
  • Contribute to the School Improvement Plan.
  • Support and challenge students and staff to achieve their best.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
